WILLIAMSBURG, Ky. - The Lindsey Wilson archery team posted a runner-up finish at the Mid-South Conference 3D Championship Saturday.
The Blue Raiders tallied 12 podium finishes and 128 points to finish second. Cumberlands (Ky.) took home the title with 212 points while Pikeville (Ky.) finished third with 96 points.
Kaya Williams took gold in the women's compound individual shootdown with 68 points, edging out Pikeville's Anna Shearier by two points.
Keegan Benton finished runner-up in the men's barebow individual shootdown with 56 points.
Anastacia Godman earned a silver medal in the women's barebow shootdown tallying 54 points while
Maria Sampson was fourth with 49.
AJ Shagool and
Zach Jackson each tallied 49 points in the men's recurve shootdown with Shagool earning bronze due to the tie breaker.
Jackson, Shagool, and
Mac Collins captured gold in men's recurve team. The trio was seeded first based on their scores' from Friday's 3D Regionals. They earned a bye into the finals and defeated Pikeville 172-154.
Godman, Sampson, and
Sarah McCarthy took home gold in women's barebow team. After earning a bye into the semifinals, they defeated Midway (Ky.) 148-106. The trio then edged out Campbellsville (Ky.) 147-143 in the finals.
Benton,
Dylan Langley, and
LaQuann Williams finished runner-up in men's barebow team. They defeated Campbellsville 141-114 in the semifinals. In the finals, the trio was defeated by Cumberlands 159-140.

Audrey Mills earned silver in women's compound team. They defeated Union Commonwealth (Ky.) 184-147 before falling to Cumberlands 182-178 in the finals.
Makenna Langley,
Alexis Bollinger, and
Lilly Bowling finished runner-up in women's fixed pins team. They defeated Union Commonwealth 167-143 in the quarterfinals and Pikeville 167-161 in the semifinals. In the finals, the trio was defeated by Cumberlands 174-169.
Seth Pipes,
Keegan Crawford, and Cael Griffith finished third in men's compound team. After falling to Union Commonwealth (Ky.) 181-175 in the semifinals, they defeated Campbellsville 182-151.
Benton and Godman captured gold in mixed barebow. The duo defeated Union Commonwealth 120-100 in the semifinals and Pikeville 114-101 in the finals.
Jackson and
Micah Bettersworth teamed up in mixed recurve and took bronze. After falling to Pikeville 118-107 in the semifinals, they defeated Cumberlands 113-99.
The Blue Raiders are back in action on October 2 for the first day of the USA Archery 3D National Championship in Foley, Alabama.
