HATTIESBURG, Miss. – The No. 9-ranked Lindsey Wilson women's golf team finished fifth at the Carey Collegiate on Tuesday at Canebrake Country Club.

The Blue Raiders carded a 64-over-par 928 (307-314-307) to finish fifth in the nine-team field, which featured seven NAIA Top 25 teams, with four teams ranked in the top 10. Lindsey Wilson recorded the third-best par-5 scoring at +4 and was tied for the third-most pars with 149.

No. 1 Keiser (Fla.) took home the team title with an 896, while No. 6 Dalton State (Ga.) finished runner-up with a 903.

Thanaporn Buakong recorded the highest Blue Raider finish, coming in ninth with a 10-over 226 (76-76-74). Buakong recorded four birdies in the final round, bringing her tournament total to eight, which was tied for the eighth-most. Tara Laverty carded a 233 (77-77-79) to finish tied for 19th. Amanda Sitohang – competing as an individual -  finished 19th with a 236 (80-78-78).

Holly Murphy (78-82-77) and Kayla Saunders (76-83-78) finished tied for 20th with a 237. Saunders finished with six birdies over the three rounds while Murphy carded five. Saunders was -3 on par 5s, which was tied for the third-best in the tournament. Henaaz Khera tied for 27th after carding a 241 (84-79-78) while Kendall Hacker – competing individually – finished 49th.
The Blue Raiders return to the course on October 13 for the Gibson Bay Invitational at Gibson Bay Golf Course in Richmond, Kentucky.
