COLUMBIA, Ky. – The Lindsey Wilson women's swimming team sits in second place following day one of the Dr. Dillery Fall Frenzy on Friday.
The Blue Raiders won three events, the most of the day's session, but trail Indiana Wesleyan in first place by 150 points.
Sophomore
Nathalie Medina dominated the field in the 500-yard freestyle, clocking in 17 seconds ahead of second place with an NAIA provisional standard time of 5:17.17.
Junior
Natalia Gorska topped the 50-yard freestyle sprint by 0.70 seconds, also posting a provisional time of 24.76 seconds. She went on to anchor the Blue Raiders winning 400-yard medley relay team with teammates
Ela Cippico,
Sara Motyl, and
Emma Verkuijl.
Session two of opening weekend begins at 9 a.m. CT on Saturday, September 27, followed by session three at 3:30 p.m. CT inside the Holloway Natatorium.
