MADISONVILLE, Ky. – The Lindsey Wilson archery team sits in second following the second day of the Mid-South Conference Archery Indoor Championships on Saturday at the Western Kentucky Archery Complex.
The Blue Raiders tallied 82 points with 11 podium finishes to sit in second. Lindsey Wilson recorded two gold medals, four silver medals, and five bronze medals. Cumberlands (Ky.) sits atop the team standings with 105 points while Pikeville (Ky.) is third with 51.
Lindsey Wilson's first gold medal came in men's recurve team. Following a bye into the finals,
AJ Shagool,
Mac Collins, &
Zach Jackson defeated Pikeville 5-4 to earn gold.
Gus Burtts and
Emma Kist teamed up in mixed fixed pins to capture gold. Burtts and Kist edged out Pikeville 157-156 to advance to the finals. The duo defeated Cumberlands in a one-arrow shootout to earn gold.
Anastacia Godman,
Maria Sampson, and
Morgan Wilson finished runner-up in women's barebow team. The trio advanced to the finals with a 6-2 victory over Campbellsville before falling to Cumberlands 6-0 to earn silver.
In women's fixed pins team,
Lilly Bowling,
MaKenna Langley, and Lexi Bollinger earned silver. The trio defeated Midway 220-215 in the semifinals before falling to Cumberlands 232-211 in the finals.
Micah Bettersworth,
Carlee Drury, and
Raylee Yadon earned bronze in women's recurve team. The trio opened competition with a 5-1 win over Campbellsville (Ky.) before falling to Pikeville 5-4 in the semifinals. They defeated Midway (Ky.) 6-2 in the third-place match.

Keegan Benton,
LaQuann Williams, and
Dylan Langley teamed up. The trio fell to Cumberlands 6-2 in the semifinals before defeating Campbellsville 5-4 to earn bronze.
Bo Pipes,
Keegan Crawford, and
Cael Griffith earned bronze in men's compound team. The trio was defeated by Union Commonwealth (Ky.) 230-219 in the semifinals.
Mikayla Cassady,
Madeline McGuire, and
Audrey Mills finished third in women's compound team. They were defeated by Union Commonwealth 221-219 in the semifinals.
Shagool and Bettersworth earned silver in mixed recurve. They defeated Cumberlands 5-4 in the semifinals before falling to Pikeville 6-2 in the finals. Benton and Godman posted a runner-up finish in mixed barebow. The duo defeated Union Commonwealth 5-1 in the semifinals and fell 6-2 to Cumberlands. Pipes and Cassady earned bronze in mixed compound. After falling to Cumberlands 156-150, the duo defeated Pikeville 152-149.
Pipes finished sixth in men's compound qualifying with a 583 (293-290) with 43 10s. Crawford posted an eighth-place finish tallying a 578 (293-285). Griffith finished 16th with a 527 (260-267).
McGuire (279-286) and Cassady (286-279) tied for 10th in women's compound qualifying with a 565. Mills finished 13th with a 555 (278-277).
In men's fixed pins qualifying, Burtts finished sixth, carding a 595 (297-298) with 55 10s.
Will Timmerman carded a 581 (284-297) to finish 10th.
Kist finished third in women's fixed pins qualifying with a 584 (291-293) with 44 10s. Bowling also posted a top-10 finish, coming in eighth. Bowling recorded a 575 (290-285) with 37 10s. Langley (269-283) and Bollinger finished in 14th and 15th with a 552 and 546, respectively.
The third and final day of the MSC Indoor Championship gets underway Sunday morning at the Western Kentucky Archery Complex.
