COLUMBIA, Ky. – The No. 5-ranked Lindsey Wilson women's wrestling team heads to Fremont, Nebraska for the Midland University Open on Saturday.

The Blue Raiders were last in action on January 17, picking up a 33-11 victory over Campbellsville (Ky.). In the victory, Lindsey Wilson won eight of the 10 weight classes with four pins, three decisions, and a tech fall. Emma Bauknight, Jaden Evans, Grace Lashinsky, Jeila Ramos, Brielle Bibla, Kori Campbell, Katelyn Lewis, and Cheyenne Cruce all picked up victories in the dual.

In the current NAIA Coaches' Poll, Lindsey Wilson has 12 wrestlers ranked. Skyler Randolph (No. 19 at 103), Reagan Thomas (No. 10 at 110), Lashinsky (No. 5 at 117), Callie Payton (No. 11 at 117), Kamilah Brooks (No. 2 at 124), Kalliscya Gardner (No. 11 at 124), Ramos (No. 7 at 131), Lexi Ritchie (No. 7 at 138), Bibla (No. 14 at 138), Campbell (No. 8 at 145), Mallory Ladd (No. 17 at 180), and Hayeni Costa (No. 8 at 207) are all ranked.

Along with the Blue Raiders, eight other teams competing are ranked or receiving votes in the NAIA Poll. Grand View (Iowa) is ranked second, Missouri Valley is ranked 10th, Doane (Neb.) is ranked 11th, Oklahoma City is 14th, Hastings (Neb.) is ranked 16th, Baker (Kan.) is slotted 20th, while Friends (Kan.) and Midland are receiving votes.

The Midland University Open gets underway on Saturday morning.
