COLUMBIA, Ky.- The Blue Raider women's basketball team opens Mid-South Conference play against the No.3-ranked Tigers of Campbellsville (Ky.)  at 4:30 P.M. CT inside the Powell Athletic Center. 

Lindsey Wilson improved to 13-2 after defeating Carolina University (N.C.) 105-67 on Saturday, increasing the win-streak to nine. Meadow Tisdale and Taylor Guess pace the offense, averaging 14.9 and 10.3 points per game, respectively. Saniyah Shelton leads the attack on the glass pulling 7.9 boards a night, while adding 9.5 points. 

On the season, LWU is tallying 78.7 points a contest on 43.9 percent from the floor, 31.4 percent from behind the arc, and 71.1 percent from the charity stripe. The Blue Raiders are also outrebounding opponents 43.2 to 30.0, totaling 16.5 offensive boards a night. 

Campbellsville sits at 15-1 with its only loss coming on December 19th against Dakota Wesleyan (S.D.) 83-55. Whitney Hay and Dea Bradley lead the offense averaging 17.3 and 13.4 points, respectively. Tyra Flowers leads the rebounding column with 7.6 a night. 

CU is outscoring its opponents 89.1 to 49.7 while shooting 47.9 percent from the field and holding the competition to 32.3 percent shooting from the floor. The Tigers average 40.8 boards a night, while allowing only 30.1. 

February 20th, 2025 marks the last matchup between the two programs where the Tigers defeated the Blue Raiders 79-68 at Campbellsville. CU leads the all-time record 43-12, with Lindsey Wilson looking to end the 19-game losing streak against the Tigers, and seeking its first win against CU since February 2, 2017.
