COLUMBIA, Ky.- The Blue Raider women's basketball team is set to host Mid-South Conference foe Cumberland University (Tenn.) Saturday in Biggers Sports Center at 1 P.M. CT.

Lindsey Wilson (13-3, 0-1 MSC) is coming off of an 83-53 loss to the No.3-ranked Tigers of Campbellsville (Ky.). Meadow Tisdale and Taylor Guess lead the offensive brigade, posting 14.1 and 10.1 points per game, respectively. Saniyah Shelton leads the attack on the glass with 7.8 boards a night, alongside 9.7 points, and a team high 3.67 assists. 

In MSC play, the Blue Raiders are averaging 53 points on 31.6 percent shooting from the floor and 66.7 percent from the free throw line. LWU pulled 22 boards in its first conference game with eight being offensive. 

Cumberland sits at 14-2, not having played a conference game yet. The Phoenix's most recent win came against Johnson (Tenn.) 95-61 on December 30. Ty Buckley and Emaleigh Tarpley pace the CU offense with 15.7 and 12.3 points, respectively. Braley Bushman and Riley Long round out the double-figure scoring with 12.3 and 11.9 points a night, respectively. 

On the season, the Phoenix are averaging 77.7 points an outing on 43.5 percent from the floor, 33.4 percent from behind the arc, and 75.3 percent from the charity stripe. 

The Blue Raiders lead the all-time record 25-15, winning the last match-up on February 22, 2025 at Cumberland U, 70-63. Lindsey Wilson is 14-7 at home and has won seven of the last 10 meetings.
