COLUMBIA, Ky. - Devane Dodgens has resigned as Lindsey Wilson women's wrestling head coach, athletics director Willis Pooler announced today.

Dodgens was named the first head coach in Blue Raider women's wrestling history on January 4, 2024, while serving as an assistant coach with the Lindsey Wilson men's wrestling program.

During his two seasons at the helm, Dodgens coached six NAIA All-Americans and 10 Mid-South Conference All-Conference selections. He guided the Blue Raiders to a top-five ranking in the NAIA Coaches' Poll during the 2025-26 season and was named the Mid-South Conference Coach of the Year that same season.

"I want to thank Coach Dodgens for the good work he did in building our highly successful women's wrestling program," says Pooler. "I wish him well in his future endeavors."

An announcement regarding new leadership for the women's wrestling program will be made in the coming days.
