LOUISVILLE, Ky, – The Blue Raiders were back in action at E.P. Tom Sawyer Park for the Swag's Cross Country Classic on Saturday. 

The Lindsey Wilson men's team placed 21st overall out of 23 total teams. The Blue Raiders scored 499 points in the 8K race. Trine tallied 108 points to take first place; Indianapolis scored 140, enough for second place. 

Freshman Jag Willers led the Blue Raiders, running a career-best 26:26.8 to place 49th overall. Lluc Casal finished 107th with a career-best time of 27:15.9. Mason Magyar secured 110th after finishing with a career-best 27:16.4. Ashton Johnson brought home 150th (28:04.2). Bryce Clayton finished 152nd with a time of 28:05.07 Calvin Brooks Jr. ran a  career-best time of 28:37.2 (173rd place). Caleb Crask placed 184th finishing with a career-best time of 28:59.2. Xavier Smith finished with a career-best time of 29:29.1. Jan Krohn finished in 31:45.5

The Blue Raider cross country team will be back in action on October 24th in Knoxville, Tennessee, for the NAIA Appalachian Challenge. This will be the last regular-season event before the Blue Raiders travel to Bowling Green for the Mid-South Conference Championships on Friday, Nov. 6.
