ROME, Ga. – The Lindsey Wilson men's tennis team was defeated by Tennessee Wesleyan 4-0 in the first round of the ITA NAIA Indoor National Championship on Friday at the Rome Tennis Center.
With the loss, the Blue Raiders (1-1) fall to the consolation bracket. Lindsey Wilson will face the loser of the Kieser (Fla.) and Our Lady of the Lake (Texas) on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. CT.

Facundo Grasso were defeated 6-2 by Lucas Perez and Lucas Grana 6-2 at No. 1 doubles. The Bulldogs (2-1) took the doubles point with a 6-4 victory at No. 3 doubles to take the 1-0 lead.
Serafin Zund increased the Tennessee Wesleyan lead to 2-0 with a 6-2, 6-3 victory over Grasso at No. 2 singles. David Leon pushed the Bulldog lead to 3-0 with a 6-0, 6-3 victory over
Raul Safont at No. 4 singles. Santiago Russo clinched the match for Tennessee Wesleyan with a 6-3, 6-3 victory at No. 6 singles over
Aldo Randazzo.
The Blue Raiders face the Keiser/Our Lady of the Lake loser in a consolation match at 1:30 p.m. CT on Saturday at the Rome Tennis Center.
