COLUMBIA, Ky. - Lindsey Wilson softball is back in Kentucky to play Union Commonwealth (Ky.) on Friday afternoon in Barbourville.
The Blue Raiders opened their 2026 campaign last weekend in Lawrenceville, Georgia, collecting three wins to start the season 3-1.
Emerson McKinnis batted 8-for-13 with two home runs and a double,
Kaiden Rodgers drove in four runs on six hits, and
Aubrey Miller contributed five RBIs on three hits.
As a team, Lindsey Wilson scored 10 of its 21 runs with two outs and accumulated a 0.425 on-base percentage compared to its opponents' 0.257.

Hallie Roberts earned two wins through 12 1/3 innings pitched. The sophomore retired eight on strikes in her first outing of the weekend against No. 24 Rio Grande (Ohio) and actively ranks third in the Mid-South Conference in total strikeouts. Teammate

Union Commonwealth (4-2) is coming off a split at Alice Lloyd (Ky.) on Tuesday. Freshman infielder Lily Allen is already making a name for herself as she leads the Bulldog offense with six RBIs on seven hits, including three doubles. Another freshman, Elizabeth Smith, is also up to six RBIs with each of her four hits this season going down for extra bases.
Maggie Haydu, also a freshman, is 2-1 in three starts on the rubber for Union Commonwealth. She sports a 2.10 earned run average through 20 innings pitched.
Lindsey Wilson has won five consecutive games versus the Bulldogs and the last eight in Barbourville.
The doubleheader begins at 1 p.m. CT on Friday, February 20.
