COLUMBIA, Ky. -- Lindsey Wilson University Athletics and Athletic Solutions are partnering to offer LWU student-athletes an opportunity to capitalize on their Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL), Athletics Director
Willis Pooler announced today.
"We are excited to enter into this partnership with Athletic Solutions to give our student-athletes legitimate NIL opportunities while providing our fans an avenue to obtain top-notch custom apparel and merchandise," Pooler said. "The landscape of college athletics has certainly changed over the last few years, and with this agreement, we are moving towards serving our student-athletes and our fans better in this NIL era."
Athletic Solutions offers an enhanced fan shop platform, designed to deliver a modern, scalable e-commerce experience for collegiate athletic programs, student-athletes, and fans nationwide.
Key features of the platform include:
- A fully designed online fan shop experience with expanded product assortments
- Dedicated team stores for individual sports with unique branding and curated merchandise collections
- Customizable apparel options that allow fans to celebrate teams and student-athletes
- Mobile-optimized shopping and simplified checkout functionality
- Scalable infrastructure designed to support multi-sport athletic programs
Lindsey Wilson offers three shops for its fans to purchase merchandise from brands such as Columbia, Under Armour, Adidas, Augusta Sportswear, Bridgestone, QuadOne, and others.
The first fan shop is the Lindsey Wilson Athletics Shop. Fans can purchase LWU apparel and merchandise, including water bottles, logo golf balls, backpacks, stadium seats, coffee mugs, towels, and more.
The second fan shop contains all of the items in the LWU Athletics Shop but is tailored to Lindsey Wilson's 26 athletic programs. Each program (archery, baseball, women's swimming, flag football, etc.) has its own shop where fans can purchase custom apparel and merchandise highlighting that sport.
The final fan shop takes the customization one step further. Each participating Lindsey Wilson student-athlete has their own shop where fans and family members can purchase items with their name and number. A percentage of the revenue from this fan ship goes to the student-athlete as part of their NIL deal.
