BOWLING GREEN, Ky.- The Lindsey Wilson women's basketball team fell to the Cumberlands (Ky.) 59-47 on Friday night in the Mid-South Conference Quarterfinals. 

Meadow Tisdale led the Blue Raiders offensive brigade with 13 points alongside seven rebounds. Taylor Guess totaled nine points and four rebounds on the night. 

Both teams experienced cold shooting to open the first quarter, combining for a total of 9-of-27 shots made to head into the second quarter tied at 13-13. 

From 8:08 to 1:24, the Blue Raiders were held scoreless while the Patriots took a 23-17 lead, preceded by an 8-0 run. Both teams remained scoreless for the last 1:23, with the only point coming from a Tisdale free throw for a 23-18 LWU deficit headed into halftime. 

A layup from Guess at 7:11 ended a 9-0 Patriot run to open the third quarter to cut the deficit to 32-20. Jarie Thomas connected on a layup with 48 seconds left to send the Blue Raiders into the final ten minutes trailing 46-32. 

Natalie Gentry knocked down two free throws at 1:11 followed by a layup from Tisdale at 48 seconds to cut the Patriots lead to 10 points for a 56-46 score. Lindsey Wilson scored its final point on a free throw from Emily Cox with two seconds left on the clock, falling to the Cumberlands 59-47. 

Lindsey Wilson expects to earn an at-large bid into the NAIA Women's Basketball Championship.
