DANVILLE, Ky. - Alicia Kemnitz earned her fifth career women's swimming Head Coach of the Year award as Lindsey Wilson swimming ended the 2026 Mid-South Conference swimming and diving championships in third place with 438 team points.
The Blue Raiders closed the weekend with 13 top-three finishes, including two gold medals.
One of those performances came from
Natalia Gorska in the 100 freestyle. The junior, who won the 100 backstroke on Friday evening, becomes the fourth different swimmer in program history to claim a conference title in the event. She got back to the wall at 52.24 seconds, a personal-best.
Nathalie Medina collected two All-Conference honors during the final session, placing third in both the 1,650 freestyle -- 18:01.63 -- and 200 butterfly -- 2:09.06. She adds her swims on Saturday to a meet that already including a top-three finish in the 500 freestyle on Thursday. It is the second consecutive year the sophomore has clinched All-Conference status in each of her three individual events.
Lindsey Wilson closed the night in the 400 freestyle relay with the team of Medina, Gorska,
Hannah Woyscheszik, and
Lara Reis. The quartet ended in third place at 3:38.17.
Next on the docket for the Blue Raiders is the NAIA National Championships, March 4-7, in Elkhart, Indiana.
