COLUMBIA, Ky. – Lindsey Wilson sophomore Rosemond Owusu was named the Mid-South Conference Women's Indoor Field Athlete of the Week, the conference office announced Monday.

Owusu, a jumper from Effiduase, Ghana, delivered an impressive performance at the Eastern Indoors in Louisville, Kentucky this past week, earning her second career indoor weekly honor.

She won the high jump with a clearance of 1.69 meters, meeting the NAIA "A" standard and breaking her own school record of 1.68 meters set on February 25, 2025.

Owusu also competed in the long jump, finishing seventh with a mark of 5.24 meters, continuing her strong start to the 2026 indoor campaign.

The Blue Raiders return to action Tuesday, February 17, at the Mid-South Conference Championships inside the Norton Healthcare Sports & Learning Center in Louisville, Kentucky.
