TOCCOA, Ga. – The Lindsey Wilson women's golf team sits in fifth after the first day of the Currahee Club Invitational at Currahee Golf Course.

The teams played 27 holes today and will finish the final 27 holes tomorrow. Lindsey Wilson is currently tied for fifth with Southeastern (Fla.) with a 50-over par (326-147). The Blue Raiders recorded six birdies and 64 pars through 27 holes.

Thanaporn Buakong is tied for 12th with a 9-over 113 (80-33) while Kayla Saunders is tied for 17th with a 118 (81-37). Amanda Sitohang carded a 118, while Tara Laverty is tied for 31st with a 124. Holly Murphy rounds out the Blue Raider scoring with a 126.
