COLUMBIA, Ky.- The No. 11-ranked Blue Raider women's basketball team is set to face No. 9-ranked Dakota Wesleyan (S.D.) in the NAIA Round of 16 Friday at 1 P.M. CT in Sioux City, Iowa at the Tyson Events Center. 

Lindsey Wilson sits at 23-8 on the season after defeating Williams Baptist (Ark.) 87-67 and Southeastern (Fla.) 97-68 in the NAIA first and second rounds. Meadow Tisdale leads the Blue Raider offense with 15.7 points a night on 52.8 percent shooting from the floor. Taylor Guess adds 11.5 points while Amelia Hodges contributes 10.0 points a contest. Saniyah Shelton is leading in assists with 3.7 per game alongside 6.9 boards a contest. 

On the season, LWU is averaging 75.4 points a contest while allowing opponents only 63.6 points a night. The Blue Raiders are outrebounding their competition 38.6 to 31.4 rebounds with 13.9 tallied as offensive. 

Dakota Wesleyan holds a 27-6 record and is currently on a six game winning streak, defeating No. 1 Dordt (Iowa) in the Great Plains Athletic Conference Championship followed by knocking St. Francis (Ill.) and College of the Ozarks (Mo.) out of the NAIA first and second rounds. Emma Yost leads the offense posting 15.4 points a night. Avery Broughton and Rylee Rosenquist round out the double-figure scoring with 14.5 points and 12.8 points a contest, respectively. 

The Tigers totaled 79.1 points a game while holding opponents to 57.7 points a meeting. Dakota Wesleyan also leads the attack on the boards pulling 42.2 a night, registering 13.2 as offensive rebounds. 

Friday's matchup marks the first meeting between the two programs with a trip to the NAIA Quarterfinals on the line. 

Women's hoops will tip off against Dakota Wesleyan at 1 P.M. CT on Friday in Sioux City, Iowa at the Tyson Events Center.
