COLUMBIA, Ky. – Lindsey Wilson sophomore Jayden Wentz was named the Mid-South Conference Men's Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week, the conference office announced Monday.

Wentz, a jumper from Charlotte, North Carolina, delivered a strong performance at the Alan Connie Shamrock Invitational in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

He placed fourth in the triple jump with a mark of 15.12 meters, meeting the NAIA "A" standard. The mark adds to his consistent success in the event and continues his strong start to the outdoor season.

The Blue Raiders return to action March 28 at the Blue Raider Rumble in Columbia, Kentucky at Parnell Family Stadium.
