GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The Lindsey Wilson men's and women's track and field teams opened competition Thursday at the 61st Annual NAIA Indoor Track and Field National Championships at the Alachua County Sports & Events Center at Celebration Pointe in Gainesville, Florida.

Selena Johnson led the way for the Blue Raiders on the women's side in the triple jump. The senior recorded a mark of 11.71 meters to place 11th overall.

On the men's side, Janer Caicedo Campaz represented Lindsey Wilson in the high jump. The freshman cleared 1.99 meters to finish 11th in the national field.

Competition at the NAIA Indoor Track and Field National Championships continues through Saturday in Gainesville as the Blue Raiders look to finish the indoor season on the national stage.
