Habeil Earns All-American Honors With Fifth-Place Finish at NAIA National Championship

WICHITA, Kan. – Ashton Habeil earned All-American honors on the final day of the NAIA Men's Wrestling National Championship Saturday at the Heartland Credit Union Arena.

Habeil, originally the No. 9 seed, became the 37th All-American in program history and is the first wrestler to earn All-American honors at184 pounds since 2021. Habeil lost his first match on Saturday to No. 3-seeded Tre Morrisette, from Life (Ga.), moving him to the fifth-place match. Habeil defeated the No. 5-seeded Isaiah Twait, from Corbin (Neb.), in a 10-3 decision to finish. 

Lindsey Wilson finished in 21st after totaling 22.5 points over the three days.
