HATTIESBURG, Miss. – The No. 7-ranked Lindsey Wilson men's golf team sits in fifth place after the first day of the  Carey Collegiate presented by Walk-On's on Monday at Canebrake Country Club. 

The teams did not finish the second round with just a few holes left. Lindsey Wilson sits in fifth with a 3-over par 514 (293-221) on the par-71 6,965-yard course. The Blue Raiders are currently 6-under in the second round. Lindsey Wilson is currency second in par-5 scoring at -14

Leading the way for the Blue Raiders is Polakrit Pawichai, who carded a 3-under par 124 (71-53) through 33 holes, while also leading the tournament in Par 5 scoring at five under. Stanley White is tied for 14th after carding a 126 (72-54) through 32 holes. White is tied for second in Par 5 scoring at four under, while tied for the fourth most birdies in the tournament with eight. Callum Waugh sits tied for 19th-place at 128 (73-55) through 32 holes. Waugh recorded an Eagle on the fifth hole in round one, while in the second round recording a birdie on the fifth. 

Philip Kittoff Jr. sits tied for 41st after carding a 136 (77-59) through 33 holes. Kittoff Jr. is tied for the fourth most pars recorded in the tournament with 25. Magnus Maahr sits tied for 47th  after carding a 132 (78-54) through 32 holes, while Arvid Olsson, competing as an individual, sits tied for 58th-place after carding a 144 (78-66) through 34 holes. 

The final day of the Carey Collegiate gets underway on Tuesday at Canebreak Country Club.
