OLD HICKORY, Tenn. – The No. 16-ranked women's golf team sits in eighth after the first day of the Music City Classic on Monday at Hermitage Golf Course.
The Blue Raiders carded a 36-over-par 612 (309-303) and sit three shots behind No. 13 Pikeville (Ky.) is seventh. No. 3 Marian (Ind.) sits atop the leaderboard with a 571, while No. 1 Keiser (Fla.) is second with a 582. Lindsey Wilson carded the third-most pars in the first two rounds with 114.
Kayla Saunders is tied for 12th with a 4-over-par 148 (75-73). Saunders is one of just eight golfers under par on par 3s at -1.
Amanda Sitohang is tied for 36th with a 154 (79-75), while Holly Muprhy is tied for 43rd after carding a 155 (78-77).
Tara Laverty (78-78) and
Thanaporn Buakong (78-78) are tied for 49th with a 156.
The final round of the Music City Classic gets underway on Tuesday morning at Hermitage Golf Course.
