COLUMBIA, Ky. – Lindsey Wilson sophomore Rosemond Owusu was named the Mid-South Conference Women's Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week, the conference office announced Monday.
 

Owusu, a jumper from Ghana, earned the honor following a standout, record-breaking performance at the Tennessee Relays in Knoxville, Tennessee.

She placed second in the high jump with a clearance of 1.75 meters, meeting the NAIA "A" standard and setting a new Lindsey Wilson school record. Owusu also added a fourth-place finish in the long jump with a mark of 5.91 meters, meeting the NAIA "B" standard and setting another school record.

The Blue Raiders return to action April 17–18 at the Georgia Tech Invitational in Atlanta, Georgia, and the Centre Twilight in Danville, Kentucky.
