COLUMBIA, Ky. - Lindsey Wilson athletics soared nine spots to fourth place in the NAIA Learfield Directors' Cup standings. Following the conclusion of the 2025-26 winter sports season, the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) released its updated standings on Tuesday morning.
The Blue Raiders garnered 454.50 points during the winter championships -- which include men's and women's basketball, men's and women's bowling, men's and women's swimming, men's and women's indoor track and field, men's and women's wrestling, cheerleading, and dance. Lindsey Wilson's earnings from the winter added to its fall total comes to a sum of 658.50 points.
Women's wrestling collected the most points -- 70.5 -- of the Blue Raiders' winter sports after finishing eighth at the NAIA National Championships. Women's swimming followed with 69 points, then women's basketball, -- 64 -- and men's swimming, -- 63 -- also placed inside the top-10 at their respective national championships.
Women's indoor track and field, -- 55.5 -- men's indoor track and field, -- 54.5 -- men's wrestling, -- 53 -- and men's basketball -- 25 -- make up the remainder of Lindsey Wilson's winter total.
Cumberlands (Ky.) moved to the top of the standings with 990.50 points, then Indiana Wesleyan and Marian (Ind.) out of the Crossroads League sit second and third, respectively. Life (Ga.) rounds out the top five.
Elsewhere in the Mid-South, Campbellsville (Ky.) is 26th overall, Cumberland (Tenn.) is 52nd, Georgetown (Ky.) is 65th, Freed-Hardeman (Tenn.) is 76th, and Bethel (Tenn.) is 78th.
The Learfield Directors' Cup was developed as a joint effort between the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics and
USA Today. Points are awarded based on each institution's finish in NAIA Championships. The spring standings will begin distribution on Tuesday, June 9.
