COLUMBIA, Ky. – The Lindsey Wilson men's track and field team is ranked No. 25 in the latest NAIA Men's Outdoor Track & Field Rating Index released by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).
The Blue Raiders totaled 103.34 points in the national index, including 93.59 points from individual performances and 9.74 points from relays across 17 ranked marks.
Lindsey Wilson is led by a top-five national performance in the high jump from
Janer Caicedo Campaz, who ranks No. 5 in the country after clearing 2.06 meters at the Centre Invitational.
Maxwell Wordui continues to lead the way in the field events, ranking No. 7 nationally in the long jump with a mark of 7.48 meters recorded at the Clark Wood Invitational.
On the track,
D'Antonio Warren holds the No. 8 national mark in the 200 meters after posting a time of 20.97 at the Clark Wood Invitational.
Jayden Wentz adds another top-10 mark for the Blue Raiders, ranking No. 10 in the triple jump with a distance of 15.12 meters from the Alan Connie Shamrock Invitational.
The 4x100-meter relay team of
Nijae McBride, Warren,
Demarcus Robertson, and Wordui ranks No. 12 nationally after recording a time of 40.80 at the Clark Wood Invitational.
Lindsey Wilson will look to build on its ranking at the Mid-South Conference Outdoor Championships, scheduled for May 3–4 at the Parnell Family Stadium in Columbia, Kentucky.
