LANSING, Mich. – The Lindsey Wilson archery team competed on the first day of USA Archery Collegiate Target Nationals on Friday at the Hope Sports Complex.
AJ Shagool posted the best Blue Raider score in men's recurve with a 541 (269-272) to finish 27th.
Mac Collins finished 33rd with a 512 (266-246), while
Zach Jackson carded a 416 (218-198) to place 50th.
Micah Bettersworth finished 28th in women's recurve with a score of 524 (288-236).
Raylee Yadon finished 47th with a 468 (225-243), and
Carlee Drury was 57th with a 404 (191-213).
In men's compound,
Keegan Crawford finished 33rd with a 668 (334-334), while
Bo Pipes was 42nd with a 655 (338-317).
Cael Griffith posted a 45th-place finish with a score of 644 (330-314).
Mikayla Cassady finished 27th in women's compound with a score of 652 (325-327).
Madeline McGuire finished 41st with a total of 635 (320-315), while
Kaya Williams was 45th carding a 626 (302-324).
Keegan Benton posted a runner-up finish in men's barebow with a 607 (302-305) with 5 Xs and 14 10s.
LaQuann Williams finished 32nd with a score of 400 (203-197).
Dylan Langley carded a 370 (178-192) to finish 36th.
Anastacia Godman finished fourth in women's barebow with a score of 559 (274-285).
Maria Sampson finished 11th with a 519 (242-277), while
Morgan Wilson finished 40th with a 339 (181-158).
Gus Burtts finished 21st in men's fixed pins with a 652 (320-332).
Will Timmerman finished 29th with a 640 (315-325), and
Anthony Schaible was 40th with a 617 (305-312).
Emma Kist placed sixth in women's fixed pins, carding a 653 (325-328).
MaKenna Langley placed 13th with a 643 (318-325), while
Alexis Bollinger placed 26th with a 602 (292-310).
In mixed recurve team, Shagool and Bettersworth went 1-1. The duo defeated Pikeville 5-4 in the second round before falling to California Berkley 6-0 in the quarterfinals.
Crawford and Cassady went 1-1 in mixed compound team. They defeated Columbia 145-141 in the second round, before being defeated 152-140 by William Carey in the quarterfinals.
Benton and Godman advanced to Sunday's final in mixed barebow team. They defeated California Berkley 6-0 in the quarterfinals, before defeating Muskingum 6-0 in the semifinals. Benton and Godman will take on Texas A&M on Sunday in the finals.
Burtts and Kist went 1-1, reaching the quarterfinals in mixed fixed pins team. They defeated Eastern Kentucky before falling to Union Commonwealth.
Day two of Collegiate Target Nationals gets underway on Saturday at the Hope Sports Complex.
