YPSILANTI, Mich. - Lindsey Wilson women's golf is tied for 20th place following the weather-riddled first round of the NAIA Women's Golf National Championship on Tuesday at Eagle Crest Golf Course.
The Blue Raiders combined for an 18-hole total of 35-over 288 by virtue of the team's top four individual scores.
Kayla Saunders carded 3-over 72 with two birdies and 10 pars. She sits tied for seventh overall.
Holly Murphy and
Tara Laverty each finished the round 10-over and tied for 95th.
Thanaporn Buakong trails close behind at 12-over (t-120th), then
Amanda Sitohang rounds out the team with a round score of 13-over (t-124th).
Dalton State (Ga.) stands atop the team leaderboard after shooting 13-over 288. The Roadrunners lead Truett-McConnell (Ga.) by two strokes ahead of Thursday's second round.
