COLUMBIA, Ky. - Following the program's third trip to the NAIA National Championship match, Lindsey Wilson women's tennis closes the 2025-26 season rated No. 2 in the NAIA Coaches' Postseason Poll.
The Blue Raiders started the year ranked third in the preseason poll but quickly bumped up to second in the first ratings of the regular season. From there, Lindsey Wilson stayed consistent and maintained its ranking throughout the rest of the season.
Along the way, the team picked up wins over No. 3 Tennessee Wesleyan, sixth-ranked LSU Alexandria (La.), No. 7 Cumberlands (Ky.), ninth-ranked Southeastern (Fla.), No. 12 Marian (Ind.), No. 14 Cumberland (Tenn.), and 21st-ranked Oakland City (Ind.) to help solidify a 19-2 overall record.
Keiser (Fla.) locked up all 12 first-place votes by virtue of the Seahawks' second national championship. No. 4 William Carey and fifth-ranked Xavier (La.) make up the rest of the top five.
Elsewhere in the poll, Cumberlands (Ky.) and Cumberland (Tenn.) ended up at No. 7 and No. 14, respectively, and Bethel (Tenn.) is receiving votes to round out the Mid-South Conference.
