COLUMBIA, Ky. – The Lindsey Wilson men's track and field team is second following the first day of the Mid-South Conference Championships on Sunday at Parnell Family Stadium.
The Blue Raiders tallied 63 points and sit behind Cumberlands (Ky.) who is in first with 98. Campbellsville (Ky.) is third with 56 points.
Maxwell Wordui captured the conference championship in the long jump with a distance of 7.33 meters.
Summy Manirakiza finished sixth with a distance of 6.39 meters,
Dyse Harding placed seventh with a jump of 6.35 meters, and
Jayden Wentz was eighth with a distance of 6.27 meters.
Two Blue Raiders earned All-Conference honors in the hammer throw.
Bryan Coleman finished runner-up with a distance of 42.85 meters.
Elijah Bullock earned All-Conference honors with a third-place finish with a throw of 41.12 meters.
Jamison Graves earned two team points in seventh with a throw of 27.68 meters. Bullock also earned All-Conference honors in the javelin, finishing in second with a throw of 45.19 meters.
Tyler Colvin,
Bryce Clayton,
Mason Magyar, and
Landon Franich earned All-Conference honors in the 4x800-meter relay, finishing third with a time of 8:03.72.
In the 10,000-meter run,
Kevin Cuin finished fourth with a time of 36:32.38.
Ashton Johnson and
Isaac Wells also earned points for the Blue Raiders, finishing in sixth and seventh, respectively.
Zack McCaslin and Johnson earned points for the Blue Raiders in the 3,000-meter steeplechase. McCaslin finished fifth with a time of 11:13.51, while Johnson was fifth with a time of 11:29.90.
In the men's 100-meter dash prelims, Lindsey Wilson had five qualify for Monday's final.
Cambell Rawlings posted the top time, finishing in 10.49. Wordui finished in second with a time of 10.54.
Nijae McBride,
Colin Lay, and
Jakoby Graves finished in sixth, seventh, and eighth, respectively.
D'Antonio Warren posted the fastest time in the men's 200-meter dash prelims finishing in 21.36.
Jakoby Graves also qualified for Monday's final with a third-place finish in 22.03.
The final day of the MSC Outdoor Track & Field Championships get underway on Monday at 11 a.m. CT at Parnell Family Stadium.
