COLUMBIA, Ky. - Lindsey Wilson women's basketball head coach Terran Duncan has announced the hiring of Jeremiah Belton as the program's assistant coach for the 2026-27 season.

He is loyal, energetic, a hard worker, and he loves Lindsey Wilson. His strength in player development will be a big key to our continued success. He already has a great rapport with our team, and I know he's ready to get to work!"

A 2025 graduate of Lindsey Wilson, Belton earned a bachelor's degree in interdisciplinary studies while competing as a member of the Blue Raiders men's basketball program.

He was named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches Honors Court and Mid-South Conference Champions of Character Team in 2025. Belton also earned two Academic All-Mid-South Conference awards.

Belton began his coaching career at Taylor County High School, where he served on the boys' basketball staff from 2022-24. During his time with the Cardinals, he was responsible for player development, game-day preparation, and game strategy.

Since 2023, Belton has also coached Kentucky travel basketball programs based in Bardstown and Erlanger, helping develop players through competitive and grassroots basketball.
