WILMORE, Ky.  – The Lindsey Wilson women's cross country team finished second at the Eagle Opener Exhibition on Friday, hosted by Asbury (Ky.).

Lindsey Wilson finished second with 39 points in the two-mile race. Host Asbury finished first with 22 points. The Blue Raiders ended with a time of 1:11:32 and an average time of 14:18.


Individually, freshman Grace Seeley finished first overall with a total time of 13:13.2 and an average mile of 6:36.6. Lily Farr claimed fifth place with a total time of 13:50.6 and an average mile time of 6:55. 

Freshmen Stella Kruse (14:27.1) and Addison Williford (17:48.4) finished 10th and 11th, respectively. Autumn Price secured 13th place for the Blue Raiders with an average time of with a time of 15:13.7. Ruby DeAtley brought home 15th place (15:20.4). Maddie Buford was right behind her in 16th with a total time of 15:24.5. Allison Latham placed 25th in 16:35.4, Laney Perkins finished 26th with a total time of 16:45.3 . Sancia Smith rounded out the Blue Raiders in 30th with a time of 18:05.3.

Lindsey Wilson returns to action for the Twilight Invitational hosted by Indiana Wesleyan on Friday, Sept. 4, in Marion, Indiana.
