Men's Bowling Opens Season at Maple City Classic; Greathouse Finishes with All-Tournament Honors

GOSHEN, Ind. – The Lindsey Wilson men's bowling team opened its 2026-27 season with a fifth-place finish at the Maple City Classic, hosted by Goshen College (Ind.), on Saturday.

Senior Cole Greathouse bowled a three-game average of 188.0 in team play before breaking out of a tie for fifth place in the 9-10 frame roll-off to earn a spot on the all-tournament team for the first time in his career. He opened team play with a 173, followed with a 200, and finished with a 191. Including baker play, Greathouse recorded 48 strikes, six of which came in his 200 game.


The Blue Raiders knocked down 4,554 total pins, with team play accounting for 2,559 pins, the third-most in the tournament.


Across 12 baker games, Lindsey Wilson accumulated 1,995 pins. The seventh and eighth games, a 195 and 193, respectively, were the Blue Raiders' best of the afternoon session.


Connor Woosley finished in ninth place with a 177.7 average through three games. Austin Bosse placed 30th after rolling two games with a 166.5 average, while Rylie Brady placed 33rd (159.0, two games) and Cameron Farmer finished 36th (151.0, two games).


Garrett Brown (186), John Sisco (181), and Trevor Huff (142) each bowled one game in team play.


Lindsey Wilson returns to action at the Midwest Collegiate Championships, Oct. 3-4, in Clinton Township, Michigan.
