COLUMBIA, Ky. – Fresh off her first collegiate tournament victory on Saturday, Lindsey Wilson freshman Jordynn Sprague was named the Mid-South Conference Women's Bowler of the Week on Tuesday.

The Louisville native becomes the first Blue Raider to earn weekly conference honors since Jacqueline Oliphant on Dec. 7, 2021, and just the fourth different bowler in program history to receive the honor.

At the Blue Raiders' season-opening tournament over the weekend in Goshen, Indiana, Sprague led Lindsey Wilson in team play with a three-game average of 188.3. Her pinfall total of 565 edged the second-place finisher by 12 pins.

Sprague opened the day with a team-high 204, followed with a 189 and secured the individual title with a 172 in her final game. Her performance helped the Blue Raiders finish third among seven teams at the Maple City Classic.

Jordynn and her Blue Raider teammates compete in the Midwest Collegiate Championships, Oct. 3-4, in Clinton Township, Michigan.
