COLUMBIA, Ky. - The No. 12-ranked Lindsey Wilson football team closes out its three-game road trip with a visit to Barbourville, Kentucky, to take on Union Commonwealth on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. CT at Williamson Stadium.
 
The Blue Raiders (3-1) are coming off a 17-7 loss to then-No. 14 St. Thomas (Fla.) last week. Lindsey Wilson was held to season-lows in yards, points, and rushing yards in the loss. Stevin Mack caught two passes for 76 yards, while Max Gainey hauled in six passes for 62 yards. Davontaye Saunders ran for 58 yards on 18 rushes with a touchdown. Saunders is now tied for third all-time in career rushing touchdowns with 32. Jamahl Gentry recorded a career-high 10 tackles, while Qua'darious Lightner had an interception.
 
Lindsey Wilson enters Saturday's matchup ranked 13th in the NAIA in scoring with 43 points per game. Defensively, the Blue Raiders allow 236.5 yards per game, which ranks seventh, and rank ninth in pass defense allowing 146.5 yards per game.
 
Saunders ranks fourth in the NAIA, averaging 143 yards per game, and is second in rushing touchdowns with nine. Gainey's eight receiving touchdowns rank second in the NAIA and his 127.3 yards per game are sixth.
 
Union Commonwealth (0-3) enters play coming off a 48-14 loss to (RV) Taylor (Ind.) last week. Bulldogs quarterback Cooper Wick completed 21 of his 31 passes for 279 yards. Qua Powell ran for 192 yards on 12 carries and scored two touchdowns.
 
Over three games, the Bulldogs have been outscored 133-42. Union Commonwealth enters play averaging 376.7 yards per game and 173.7 rushing yards per game. Defensively, the Bulldogs allow 475.3 yards per game. Powell ranks eighth in the NAIA with 128.3 rushing yards per game.
 
Saturday's matchup is the 10th meeting between the two programs. Lindsey Wilson is 8-1 all-time against the Bulldogs and has won the last eight matchups. In Barbourville, the Blue Raiders are 5-0.
