COLUMBIA, Ky. – The Lindsey Wilson men's swimming team holds a commanding lead following day one of the Dr. Dillery Fall Frenzy on Friday.

The Blue Raiders won three of the session's five events, totaling 408.5 points.

Sergio Ybarra coasted to victory in the 500 freestyle, clocking an NAIA provisional time of 4:30.74. His time was just 1.47 seconds off the "A" standard.

In the 50 freestyle, Colin Maron (21.91) and Lav Putnik (22.10) finished first and second, respectively, with just .19 seconds separating the pair.

Maron and Putnik joined Karem Amakye and Bruno Mendonca to win the 200 freestyle relay in 1:27.43.

Mendonca, Putnik, Ybarra and Spinola capped the evening with another relay victory, winning the 400 medley relay by 6.20 seconds over the second-place team.

Lewis Dickinson put together a strong performance in the 200 individual medley, earning third place in 1:58.75. His time was just .06 seconds behind the winner and 1.49 seconds off a national cut.

The Dr. Dillery Fall Frenzy resumes at 9 a.m. CT on Saturday, September 26, followed by the final session at 3:30 p.m. CT.
