Damon Hicks begins his tenth season as the head coach of the Lindsey Wilson cheer and dance teams in 2025-26.
Hicks took over as the head coach of the program from before the 2010-11 season and held the position through the 2015-16 campaign before stepping away for a few seasons and later returning as an assistant coach from 2019 through the 2022. Under his leadership, the Blue Raider cheer program has earned six top-5 finishes at the Mid-South Conference championship, landed seven NAIA Scholar-Athletes, a Mid-South Freshman of the Year, 24 All-conference selections, and 61 Academic All-Mid-South honorees.
Hicks has over 30 years of experience in cheer and dance and offers his athletes expertise in cheer, tumbling, and dance. His coaching and choreography across the youth, high school, and college levels have resulted in regional, state, and national championships.
Damon is a graduate of The Ohio State University with a Business Management degree. He is an AACCA-certified cheerleading coach and a USTA and AAU-certified tumbling coach.
