Camilo Erazo is entering his first season as Interim Men's Head Coach for the Lindsey Wilson tennis program in 2021-22.
He played professional tennis and made an appearance in the ATP rankings at the age of 17 in singles and doubles, before his college career at LWC. Erazo was sponsored by one of the biggest tennis promoters in Colombia: “Colsanitas” during his years as a professional tennis player.
Erazo competed for four seasons with the Blue Raiders earning NAIA All-American status three times as well as one ITA All-American honor and an ITA National Rookie of the Year. He was nominated as Senior of the Year as well as Most Improved Player of the year throughout his career at LWC. He was also tabbed the Mid-South Conference Freshman of the Year in 2018 and is a four-time MSC First-Team All-Conference selection. During his career at Lindsey, he helped the team to get three Mid South conference titles and one national semifinal. Erazo played at the top position in singles and doubles throughout college. Erazo was also undefeated in doubles his Freshman and Senior years with a (33-0) record.
The native of Popayan, Colombia graduated from Lindsey Wilson with Cum Laude Latin Honors with a major in communication and a minor in journalism in the spring of 2021 with a Bachelor of Art's degree.
Before coming to coach Lindsey Wilson he worked for Sportime at the John McEnroe Tennis Academy in New York City ranked #30 in the top fitness and sports companies in North America by Club Industry Magazine gaining a lot of experience as a coach.
