Annabelle Sharber (Ramirez) joined the Lindsey Wilson softball coaching staff as an assistant coach prior to the 2023-24 season. Following the 2025-26 school year, she was elevated to associate head coach.

Since joining the Blue Raider coaching staff, Sharber has coached two pitchers to five All-Mid-South Conference honors, including the 2026 Mid-South Conference Pitcher of the Year. She was also named the Mid-South Conference Assistant Coach of the Year in 2025 and 2026.

As a student-athlete, Sharber appeared in 96 games over her four-year career with the Blue Raiders. She finished among the program’s all-time top 10 in wins, earned run average, strikeouts, innings pitched, complete games and shutouts, while tying the program record for career saves with nine.

Sharber was a two-time NAIA All-American and Mid-South Conference Pitcher of the Year, a three-time All-Mid-South Conference honoree and a three-time academic all-conference recipient. In 2021, she was also selected to the NAIA-CoSIDA Academic All-District and Academic All-American teams.

Sharber graduated from Lindsey Wilson in spring 2021 with a degree in mathematics and double minors in business administration and art. She went on to play professionally overseas in Italy’s A1 League during the summer of 2022 before returning to Kentucky in the fall and working as a substitute teacher for Jefferson County Public Schools in Louisville.

In addition to her coaching experience at Lindsey Wilson, Sharber has provided pitching instruction since 2018. She began coaching with the Louisville Lady Sluggers 16U team in 2021.
