Terran Duncan begins her eleventh season as an assistant coach with the Lindsey Wilson women’s basketball program in 2023-24.
Duncan is a 2008 graduate of Lindsey Wilson College where she earned a degree in biology before completing her master's degree in sport management at Morehead State University in 2015.
As an assistant coach, Duncan helped guide the Blue Raiders to a share of the Mid-South Conference regular season championship in 2017. The team has also enjoyed a 0.692 winning percentage – 220 wins – during her tenure, including six seasons of 20-plus wins and a program-best 32-3 overall record in the 2016-17 season.
As a player, Duncan totaled 1,694 points – sixth all-time -- and 640 rebounds – ninth all-time -- in her four seasons on the court at a Blue Raider. She is a two-time NAIA Honorable Mention All-American, three-time Mid-South All-Conference recipient, three-time Academic All-Conference selection, and was named the 2006-07 Mid-South Conference Player of the Year. Furthermore, her efforts during her junior and senior seasons helped Lindsey Wilson capture back-to-back Mid-South regular season titles.
Duncan began her coaching career as an assistant girl’s coach at Russell County High School in 2008-09, then joined the St. Catharine College women’s basketball staff as an assistant in 2009-10. While with the Patriots, Duncan helped coach an All-MSC Honorable Mention and three Academic All-Mid-South honorees.
Prior to joining Lindsey Wilson, she was an assistant coach with the University of Pikeville women’s basketball program. In her three years at Pikeville, Duncan coached an MSC Freshman of the Year, an All-Mid-South First Team honoree, an All-Mid-South Second Team Honoree, and a total of 15 Academic All-Mid-South student-athletes.
