BURKESVILLE, Ky. --The Lindsey Wilson College men's golf team finished the fall season with their fifth straight victory in the Mid-South Conference Fall Tournament on Tuesday at Dale Hollow Lake State Park.
The Blue Raiders shot a two-day total of 25-over par, 601 (300-301) over the 7,023-yard Dale Hollow course.
The win is the Blue Raiders fifth consecutive of the season.
Campbellsville University finished second with a score of 610 (307-303) while the University of the Cumberlands placed third with a 613 (304-309).
Rounding out the scoring was Georgetown College shooting a 623 (320-303) and Pikeville College at 679 (333-346).
Three Blue Raiders finished in the top-ten. Senior
Federico Lizarralde shot a 146 (72-74) for a third place finish. Senior
Tyler Sharpe totaled a 147 (76-71) to finish fourth while senior
Bill Dukes shot a 150 (72-78), good for sixth place.
Campbellsville's Jeff Sullivan won top honors with a 139 (70-69).
Freshman
Carlos Navarro tallied a 159 (80-79) and junior Zach Wilson had a 160 (82-78) to finish 13th and 14th for Lindsey Wilson.
With the win, the Blue Raiders wrapped up the fall schedule with a victory in all five of the tournaments they played in.
