CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. -- The Lindsey Wilson College men's golf team won for the fourth consecutive time this season, winning the Don Bishop Invitational hosted by Campbellsville (Ky.) University on Monday and Tuesday at Campbellsville Country Club.
Lindsey Wilson shot a two-day total of eight-over par, 584 (297-287) over the 6,510-yard Campbellsville Country Club course.
The win is the fourth consecutive win of the season for the Blue Raiders.
Host Campbellsville (299-292) finished tied for second with University of the Cumberlands (306-285). Each team shot 15-over par, 591.
Lincoln Memorial (Tenn.) University finished fourth with a team total of 614 (306-308), while Kentucky Wesleyan University (307-308) and St. Catharine (Ky.) College (308-307) tied for fifth with 615's. Georgetown (Ky.) College's 616 (304-312) and Bethel (Tenn.) College's 627 (312-315) rounds out the eight-team field.
A pair of Blue Raiders was named to the all-tournament team. Lindsey Wilson senior Tyler Sharpe's two-day total of two-under par, 142 (73-69) was good enough for second place. Freshman Carlos Navarro finished tied for third with a total of one-under par, 143 (71-72).
Campbellsville's Jeff Sullivan won the individual medalist with a total of four-under par, 140 (70-70).
Lindsey Wilson junior Zach Wilson tied for 10th with a 149 (74-75), senior Federico Lizarralde finished tied for 12th with a 150 (79-71) and senior Bill Dukes tied for 31st with a 157 (81-76) to round out the Blue Raider team.
Lindsey Wilson returns to action for the final tournament of the fall on Monday, October 10, as the Blue Raiders host the Mid-South Conference Fall Tournament at Dale Hollow Lake State Park Golf Course in Burkesville.
