LONDON, Ky. -- The Lindsey Wilson College men's golf team earned a second place finish today at the Southeastern Kentucky Intercollegiate at Crooked Creek Golf Club.
The No. 13-ranked Blue Raiders shot a two-day total 599 (297-302) over the par-72 6,694-yard course to finish 16 stokes behind tournament winner Lee (Tenn.) University.
The No. 4-ranked Flames fired a two-day total of 583 (296-287).
No. 22-ranked Lindenwood (Mo.) University finished third with a total of 601 (300-301). Cumberland (Ky.) College, the tournament's host, finished fourth with a 611 (308-303), while Cumberland (Tenn.) University (306-310) and Campbellsville (Ky.) University (308-308) tied for fifth with a team-total of 616.

Federico Lizarralde finished three strokes off the pace set by Lindenwood's Matt Hopkins' 142 (70-72). Lizarralde's two-day total of 145 (71-74) was good enough for a third place tie.
Lindsey Wilson sophomore Zach Wilson joined Lizarralde on the all-tournament team with a fifth place finish, firing a 146 (74-72) over the two days.
Lindsey Wilson returns to action April 7-8 as they travel to the Mid-South Conference Spring Invitational held at Stone Crest Golf Club in Prestonsburg, Kentucky.
