PRESTONSBURG, Ky. -- The Lindsey Wilson College men's and women's golf teams won the Mid-South Conference Spring Tournament held on Thursday and Friday at Stone Crest Golf Club.
The Lindsey Wilson men shot a two-day total of 600 (294-306) over the 7,011-yard, par-72 course.
Cumberland (Ky.) College (300-319) and Georgetown (Ky.) College (301-318) tied for second with a 619. Campbellsville (Ky.) University finished fourth with a 629 (316-313), while Pikeville (Ky.) College finished fifth with a 653 (325-328).
Lindsey Wilson sophomore Zach Wilson earned medalist honors with a two-day total of 147 (72-75).
Wilson, a Russell Springs, Kentucky, native, earned his second solo individual win and his fourth first-place finish of his career.

Federico Lizarralde, a Montevideo, Uruguay, native, joined Wilson on the five-man all-tournament team with a 151 (74-77).
The win is sixth of the season for the No. 14-ranked Blue Raiders and their second of the spring season.
The Lindsey Wilson women won their second consecutive tournament with a 662 (322-340) over the 6,110-yard, par-72 track.
Cumberland finished second in the two-day event with a 719 (356-363). Georgetown's 737 (364-373) was good enough for third, while Campbellsville finished fourth with a 753 (371-382).
The No. 19-ranked Blue Raiders placed three, freshmen Jessica Robertson, Beth Cooper and Lindsay Roberts, on the all-tournament team.
Robertson and Cooper, both of Russell Springs, finished second and third in the tournament. Robertson finished with a 160 (82-78), while Copper ended with a 162 (77-85). Roberts, a Louisville native, finished the two-day event in fourth with a 163 (78-85).
The Lindsey Wilson men and women return to action on Tuesday and Wednesday, April 12-13, as they travel to the Cardinal Golf Club in Louisville for the Mid-South Conference Championships.
