OLATHE, Kan. -- The Lindsey Wilson College men's golf season came to an end on Thursday as junior
Tyler Sharpe missed the cut at the 2005 NAIA Men's Golf National Championship.
Sharpe, the lone Blue Raider at the national championship, shot an 80 over the par 72, 7,066 yard Prairie Highlands Golf Course.
Sharpe's three day total of 233 (80-73-80) was good enough for a tie for 89th. Sharpe missed the cut for the final round by seven shots.
Sharpe qualified for the national championship as an individual after making the all-tournament team in 2004.
Okalahoma City University's Brent Akins (70-73-66) and California State University - San Marcos' Kenny Adams ((68-66-75) are the co-leaders heading into Friday's final round at 209.
Johnson & Wales (Fla.) University is leading the team championship at 841. Oklahoma City is second at 863.
