COLUMBIA, Ky. -- Lindsey Wilson College senior forward Ralph Jennings recorded his second straight double-double to help the Blue Raiders to a 68-50 win over visiting Purdue University Calumet (Ind.) today at Biggers Sports Center.

After a lack-luster first half where the Blue Raiders trailed 25-24 at the break, Lindsey Wilson opened the second 20 minutes scoring seven straight and 11 of the first 13 points en route to the blowout win.

Lindsey Wilson sophomore guard Jeff Vories keyed the second-surge with his own personal 7-0 run in the first 1:12 of the second half. Vories finished with 11 points, all after halftime.

Vories and Jennings -- who finished with 14 points and 13 rebounds -- scored 15 of the Blue Raiders first 17 points out of the locker room as the Blue Raiders never trailed after the first basket of the half.

The upset-minded Peregrines (1-7) managed to keep it close, trailing by only four points (43-39) after junior center Kevin Thomas made a pair of free throws with 7:14 remaining in the game. Thomas finished with a game-high 14 points.

Lindsey Wilson used a 17-5 run over the next five minutes to extend its lead to double figures and coasted to the 68-50 win.

The Blue Raiders (6-4) outscore the visitors 44-25 after the break.

Jennings' game-high 13 rebounds helped the Blue Raiders dominate the glass. Lindsey Wilson out-rebounded Calumet 39-22.

The host also limited the Peregrines to 34.9 percent (15-of-43), including 2-of-11 three-pointers. Lindsey Wilson countered by making 47.8 percent (22-of-46) from the field and 4-of-9 from outside.

Calumet freshman guard Delriko Curtis joined Thomas in double figures with 11. Lindsey Wilson junior forward Marcus Ceasar scored eight points off the bench as the Blue Raider reserves outscored their counterparts 36-11.

Lindsey Wilson returns to action at 4 p.m. CT on Sunday, Dec. 9, as the Blue Raiders host Oakwood (Ala.) College at Biggers Sports Center.
