CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. -- A trio of Lindsey Wilson College men's soccer players scored two goals each as the Blue Raiders beat Campbellsville (Ky.) University 9-0 on Tuesday at the Campbellsville Soccer Field.
Lindsey Wilson senior Ryan Stewart and freshmen Jose Espinoza and Turlien Romulus each scored twice to help the Blue Raiders improve to 8-1 overall and 2-0 in the Mid-South Conference.
Senior Adam Howard, junior Nathaniel Jafta and sophomore Carnell Learmond scored the remaining goals and Jafta and Stewart each added two assists in the win.
Junior goalkeeper Glen Fox earned his fifth shutout win of the season while recording one save.
Campbellsville falls to 3-6 overall and 0-2 in the conference with the loss.
Lindsey Wilson returns to action at 7 p.m. CT on Friday, September 28, as the No. 5-ranked Blue Raiders host No. 6-ranked Indiana Wesleyan University at Lindsey Wilson Park.
