PIPESTEM, W.Va. -- The Lindsey Wilson College men's golf team finished fourth at the Mid-South Conference Fall Tournament played today at Pipestem Golf Course.
The Blue Raiders shot a two-round total of 591 (209-301) to finish 21 strokes behind first place Campbellsville (Ky.) University's 570 (280-290). University of the Cumberlands (Ky.) finished second with a team-total of 575 (286-289) and Georgetown (Ky.) College ends in third with a 587 (292-295).
Host West Virginia Tech finished fifth with a total of 630 (320-310) and Pikeville (Ky.) College ended in sixth with a 672 (338-334).
Lindsey Wilson junior Abraham Gali led the Blue Raiders with a third place finish after a two-day total of two-under par 142 (69-73) over the par-72, 6,884-yard course.
Campbellsville's Scott Webb won the tournament and takes the lead in the chase for MSC Player of the Year with a six-under par 138 (66-72). The conference will host a spring event and the year-end championships to determine player of the year and all-conference.
Lindsey Wilson junior Zach Charbonneau -- playing as an individual -- finished in seventh place with a two-day total of even-par 144 (74-70). Freshman Chris Lewis -- also playing as an individual -- tied for 11th with a 147 (76-71).
Junior Carlos Navarro and sophomore Travis Radford tied for 14th after firing identical 148's (74-74). Freshman Joe Hood ended in a tie for 21st following his 153 (73-80).
Freshman Ross Crowe had to withdraw from competition with an injury following his first-round 77.
Lindsey Wilson returns to action on Saturday, October 6, as the Blue Raiders travel to the Centre (Ky.) College Invitational in Danville.
