SENECA, SC -- The Lindsey Wilson College men's golf team won their second tournament of the season today at the Jack Shadwick Invitational hosted by Southern Wesleyan University.
The Blue Raiders shot a two-day total of 601 (297-304) to win by one stroke at Cross Creek Plantation.
University of the Cumberlands (Ky.) finished second with a team total of 602 (302-300). Southern Wesleyan rounded out the top three with a two-day total of 604 (307-297).
The Lindsey Wilson trio of senior Abraham Gali (72-79), freshman Nicolas Navarro (73-78) and sophomore Joe Hood (75-76) all tied for seventh, shooting a 151 for the tournament.
A pair of Blue Raiders tied for 16th as junior Travis Radford (77-75) and senior Carlos Navarro (77-75) both shot a 152. Freshman Derek Murphy, playing as an individual, shot a 158 (79-79) to finish tied for 25th.
Lindsey Wilson returns to action on Oct. 2-3 as the Blue Raiders travel to the Don Bishop Invitational at Campbellsville Country Club in Campbellsville, Ky.
