CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. -- The Lindsey Wilson College men's golf team finished third at the Don Bishop Invitational today hosted by Campbellsville (Ky.) University.
The Blue Raiders finished with a two-day team total of 601 (300-301) at Campbellsville Country Club. Campbellsville won the event with a 583 (285-298) and University of the Cumberlands (Ky.) finished second with a 593 (298-295).
Lindsey Wilson freshman Nicolas Navarro led the Blue Raiders with a two-day total of 147 (74-73). Navarro finished tied for sixth and earned a spot on the all-tournament team.
Senior Carlos Navarro tied for ninth with a 150 (74-76), sophomore Joe Hood tied for 12th with a 151 (76-75) and junior Travis Radford tied for 23rd with a 155 (76-79).
Senior Abraham Gali's (83-77) and freshman Derek Murphy -- playing as an individual -- finished tied 28th with 160s.
Campbellsville's Scott Webb earned medalist honors with a 141 (71-70).
Lindsey Wilson concludes its fall season on Saturday, Oct. 4, as the Blue Raiders travel to Centre (Ky.) College Invitational at Old Bridge Golf Club.
