CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. - The No. 2-ranked Lindsey Wilson College men's soccer team scored four first half goals to beat Campbellsville (Ky.) University 4-0 today.
Lindsey Wilson was led by reigning Mid-South Conference player of the week, freshman forward Moses Aduny.
Aduny scored two goals to open the game which set the pace for the Blue Raiders. The freshman has recorded 11 points in his last three games.
Sophomore forward Frederick Were added a goal and an assist to hand Campbellsville their first loss of the season.
Freshman goalkeeper Michael Smith recorded the shutout in his first collegiate start for Lindsey Wilson. Smith made four saves and extended his shutout streak to 225 minutes.
The Blue Raiders improve to 9-1 on the season.
Lindsey Wilson returns to action at 3 p.m. CT on Monday, Oct. 13, as the Blue Raiders travel to the University of the Cumberlands.
